What’s next for Millers Homestead?

Knox Council is now seeking applications from community members to form the Miller’s Homestead Community Reference Group, and help decide on the best way to preserve and make the most of this iconic homestead in Boronia.
The council’s Strategic Planning Committee met on 10 May to consider potential future uses of Miller’s Homestead, taking community feedback into account. Results showed a preference for a community arts, history and events space, managed by a community or not-for-profit group. Now all that’s left is for community and non-profit groups to step forward.
What will be next? A shared community space, beautiful art gallery, exhibition space, museum for public viewings… It’s up to you, and only time will tell.
Expressions of Interest for the Community Reference Group is now open. You can apply and find out more at www.knox.vic.gov.au/millers
Applications for the tenancy of Miller’s Homestead is now also open.
